Tamanend Middle School's Basketball Shootout
Every year the students, faculty, staff, and parents at Tamanend Middle School go above and beyond any organization or academic institution’s efforts in partnering with the Fund. Their Basketball Shootout has raised more than $234,000 to benefit KADMF since 1999. This year, the Shootout will be held on Saturday, February 25.
Here's what happened at last year's amazing event:
- More than 1,000 students, alumni, teachers, staff, siblings, and parents attended the all-day event
- About 500 students played three-on-three basketball games
- 342 three-on-three games were played between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:40 pm
- $39,242.59 was raised to benefit families caring for seriously ill and disabled children
