speaking to the Jenkintown Rotary Club with an update on accomplishments and
challenges, goals that mark the 30th anniversary year of the Kelly Anne Dolan
Memorial Fund.

Texas
Hold 'Em Tournament. One of Kelly Anne Dolan's former classmates is
holding a poker tournament to benefit the fund. Come out for a night of fun
on Friday, March 3 at 7:00 PM at the Ft. Washington American Legion Post 10
on Bethlehem Pike in
Fort Washington
,
PA.
$75.00 entry fee (no

Peggy Dolan will be the keynote speaker at this all
day event focusing on careers and community service.
March 25 & 26 - The Kids Expo. Scheduled
at the
Fort
Washington
Expo
Center
. KADMF will partner with Robert and Donna
Prescott, owners of the Young Colors clothing line for this event. Of the proceeds from booth sales, 70% will
go to the fund. The
Prescott
’s vision incorporates distinct
children’s clothing with cultural flair and fun, playful colors and
hand-designed motifs. They are the
newest partner of the fund and its mission.
March - April (exact date to be
announced) - Gaudeamus Annual Spring Concert. Gaudeamus,
which means, "let us rejoice" is a group of professional musicians
and vocalists who perform for the good of others - specifically nonprofit
organizations. This is their third concert for the KADMF. For more

April 2006
April 7 – Pink Floyd Tribute
Concert. This special concert takes place at
Wissahickon
High School
, Ambler, PA. The
event – arranged by student and guitarist Martin Stubbs – is his
senior project. WHS music teacher,
Mike Hood, and his band will collaborate with Martin in this special tribute
concert. The music starts at 7:00 and
tickets are $5.00. Refreshments will
be available. All proceeds benefit the
fund.
April 22 – Bowl-A-Thon.
Arcadia
University
’s Masters in Genetic Counseling Program
sponsors this activity scheduled at the Willow Grove Lanes. The fun starts at 3:00 pm.
April 30 – Family Fun Day –
The Spirit of
Philadelphia
Luncheon Cruise. Ship launches at 12:30 pm from the Peers at
Penn’s Landing. This outing is
for hospital patients and their families and is by invitation only.
May 2006
May 6 – Fundraising Dinner –
Springfield
Township
High School
. This fundraising dinner is
sponsored by the Interact Club and begins at 6:30 pm.

Anniversary Black Tie Gala – Crystal Tea Room in the John Wannamaker
Building. The Gala is
scheduled from 4 to 9 pm., which includes cocktails, dinner, live and silent
auctions and dancing to the
Jump
