In-Kind Donations

The term "in-kind donations" refers to contributions of goods and services that are of value to a non-profit organization.

The following lists of materials and services will give you an idea of things we are looking for. However, if you have a product or service that you think might be useful to us, please give us a call at at 215-643-0763 to tell us what it is. We would appreciate hearing from you.

Services:

  • Marketing and Public Relations
  • Legal
  • Graphic Design
  • Public Speaking
  • Computer Training
  • Photography
  • Carpentry

Material goods:

  • Computers for patients
  • Electronic equipment for patients and siblings
  • Prizes for events
  • Pre-paid phone cards
  • Pre-paid credit cards to purchase gas
  • Gift certificates to supermarkets, department stores, restaurants
  • New air conditioners, air purifiers
  • New appliances, refrigerators, microwaves, washers/dryers
  • Diapers (disposable)
  • Adaptive toys (new)
  • New toys/clothing for Holiday Adopt-a-Family program (seasonal)

Some things to think about when making in-kind donations:

  • Contact us to see if we can use your donation and if it can be put to immediate use.
  • Be ready to place a value on your donation.
  • Check to see if your donation is tax deductible (IRS Publication 526 outlines what types of donations can be deducted and how to claim a deduction).
